You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • Are currently taking medication for
    pain due to Arthritis or Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)

A research study offers study-related care
and compensation

Clinical research doctors are currently enrolling patients with OA or RA for a large, worldwide research study. This study is comparing three FDA-approved medications.

If you qualify, your participation will last up to 42 months. During that time, you'll make about 12 visits to the study site or doctor's office. You'll also receive compensation for your time and travel, study-related medical care from a local study doctor, and FDA-approved medication.

About Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis

Arthritis affects about 18% of the general population. Osteoarthritis (OA), or "common arthritis," affects more than 20 million people in the U.S. alone. OA is a degenerative disorder that usually affects weight-bearing joints, including the knees, hips, spine, and feet.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a different condition that causes pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function in the joints. It occurs when the immune system attacks the membrane lining the joints. About 1.3 million people in the U.S. have RA.
